A NonProfit Organization (NPO) is dedicated to promoting a specific social cause or advocating for a shared group need.
To receive tax exemption, an organization must apply to be registered as an IRC 501(c) or 528 entity. Congress has defined roughly three dozen types of nonprofits. However, the common running thread is that an NPO cannot pay profits to private individuals or shareholders. NPO is also exempt from State income tax.
Types of NPOs my company provides services for:
- Labor Unions
- Parent Teacher Associations
- Condominium and Homeowner Associations
- Trade and Professional Organizations
- Foundations, Churches, and Others
